The subtlety and richness of the original prints of Denis Brihat are difficult to translate on screen.

From 1968 and on, Denis decided to address the problem of color in a personal way. Starting from black and white prints and using toning, oxidation and sulfurization, he obtains a more “truefull” and enriched color. On certains pieces, the uses of chemical etching on gelatin, gives a particular depth. This allows it to have a greater dialogue with his work.

His photographs, according to formats, comes in 3, 6 or 10 copies.
